Fantastico! What a great hotel enjoyed every second of our 5 day stay. Could not fault staff in any way nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were brilliant and transport facilities were marvellous a tram stops on the road nearby. Poblenou Metro 5 minutes walk as is Poblenou Rambla with tapas bars, coffee shops, restaurants etc in the natural Spanish style. The Rambla leads down to the beasch which is wonderful it even includes a naturist area. Easy access to port olympico (4stops on Metro). Best price on Travelzoo 99E per night inc B/Fast and parking, ask for 16 floor and above and city view. You get floor to ceiling window and Barcelona in all its glory can be viewed from the comfort of your luxurios bed. Friday and Saturday night the ME is THE place to be seen the night club is buzzing up to 5am. If you want a great time in Barca the ME is the PLACE.

Traveled to Barcelona with my wife for the Elton John show. Booked 4 nights at this hotel. The room with sea view was great. Clean, Tidy, comfortable and in general we fell in love with all the hotel decoration and new look. Breakfast was wonderful and it is served until 11. The fact that the staff was so nice, wellcoming and helpful made this vacation a big success. Will definitly go back and recommend to others as well.
The hotel is not in the center of town but 5 minute walk to a metro station which makes it easy getting to every important plae in town. It's also not far from the beutifull beach.
